The 33-year-old Kang Hu was set to marry 30-year-old Na Sung, a woman chosen by his parent who he had never even seen before when things went awry. After laying eyes on her for the first time at the ceremony, Kang found she did not meet his high standards. He stunned everyone by telling Na Sung that he found her ‘ugly’ and that she would be ‘bad for his image’. Hu walked out on the ceremony and jumped into a nearby river. “It was a very awkward moment for everyone,” said Chan Wang, a guest at the wedding. “The bride was devastated, her family was furious, his family was furious, and we his friends were embarrassed. Kang has very exact tastes and had been forced into this marriage,” he added. Both families, according to mirror.co.uk, spent several hours searching for the groom, before spotting him wandering along a nearby river bank. Before they could approach him for an explanation and an apology to the bride, he threw himself into the water. After regaining consciousness, Kang eventually explained his behaviour: “I feel bad about what happened but when I saw her she wasn’t what I had expected and I realised she would be bad for my image. In a recent chat with YNaija, the star actress addressed the issue, talked about Nigerian blogs and of course, the charity project she is working on. See excerpts below: You are always a subject of delight to bloggers because of your frequent social media activities, how do you handle all the attention that come with it? Bloggers love me simply because I make their jobs very easy. I am a subject who knows how to carry every one along by being myself. I am used to it now so I don’t always react to their reports. However, when I react sometimes, it is because the stories are fake or judgmental. If not, I try to respect them well. You once told your fans to go and worship Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé, over some of their nasty comments on Instagram, do you have a thing against these two? You see, some fans are ridiculous. If you wear a dress or something that any of these foreign celebs wear, you begin to hear comments  from fans that refer to ours (what we Nigerian celebs wear) as ‘fake’, some even go as far as calling us copycat.  We should not be called Copycats because it’s not as if the foreign celebs invented all the designs, they must have gotten them from somewhere too. It appalls me how we get disrespected instead of encouragement from fans, so whenever they come to my page to vent, I direct them where to channel that to. I won’t allow any one stress me or give me negative feedback on an innocent motive. I like Beyonce and Kim but I don’t copy them, people should please respect my hustle too. How do you manage to stay in shape and maintain your figure? I really don’t do anything because I have gastric ulcers. All I can say is, I eat well because my health care is above anything. Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” video is basically one of the best things that ever happened to big-booty and curvy girls, as against skinny girls. What do you have to say about the song, considering you are a sexy curvy lady too? I love Nicki Minaj, but not the song and it’s lyrics. I don’t even like the video. It  ridicules slim people and it should not be. Slim people are hot too. I would rather listen to a song that promotes being healthy instead of Anaconda, that song makes no sense Last December, you vowed to feed over a million hungry kids across the world.  Could you shed more light on this charity project? Yes I vowed to and I will fulfil it. I shall feed them in droves as long as I am alive
